Czapek & Cie has unveiled the latest version of its Place Vendôme Complicité Stardust Cobalt watch, a limited edition of 13 pieces from an initial first edition run of 100. This watch is a collaboration with well-known watchmaker Bernhard Lederer. Continuing the tradition of the Complicité Stardust and Harmony Blue editions from August 2023, it features a precise double escapement mechanism displayed under a butterfly-shaped sapphire glass bridge at the 12 o’clock position.

The design of the Place Vendôme Complicité Stardust Cobalt maintains the original layout, with sub-dials forming a pyramid and a central differential in the double escapement creating a dynamic visual effect. It houses the manually wound Calibre 8, which offers a 72-hour power reserve visible through sapphire bridges on the dial.

Initially available in grey with a white gold case (Stardust) and sapphire blue with a rose gold case (Harmony Blue), the new Stardust Cobalt edition is also in white gold. It features shimmering blue indices and hands against a grey circular-grained minutes and hours track. The original glass box has been replaced with a domed sapphire crystal for a clearer view of the dial mechanism.
