During Dubai Watch Week 2023, Czapek introduced the Antarctique Royal Onyx, a limited edition variant of its Antarctique sports watch. This timepiece features a 40.5mm stainless steel case and a striking black onyx dial, enhanced by blue sapphire baguette hour markers. Its 10.8mm height and 120m water resistance make it versatile and practical.

The dial’s black onyx requires precise cutting and polishing to achieve a mirror-like finish, providing a vivid contrast for the skeletonized steel hands (with a blue-tipped second hand) and indices, ensuring readability.

Powering the Antarctique Royal Onyx is the in-house automatic calibre SXH5, which includes a platinum 950 micro-rotor and seven bridges, five of which are openworked, with a 60-hour power reserve. The watch lacks a date display but offers hours, minutes, and seconds. Its exhibition case back reveals the intricate movement, including hand-chamfered, sandblasted black bridges and a black-polished steel central bridge.

The Antarctique Royal Onyx is paired with an integrated stainless steel bracelet featuring polished C-shaped links and the Czapek Easy Release system for easy strap interchangeability. This model, limited to 18 pieces, is a collaboration with Mansour Jewellers.
