Description

The Czapek & Cie Antarctique Rattrapante Gold Dust SHH Edition is a limited 25-piece timepiece, exclusive to Sincere Fine Watches’ SHH boutique in Kuala Lumpur. This unique edition features solid 18-carat 5N rose gold on the chronograph counters and peripheral minutes ring, offering a striking contrast to the grey and silver movement, case, and bracelet. This design choice echoes the luxury and creativity of the SHH boutique.

This Antarctique Rattrapante Gold Dust SHH Edition is a split-second mono-pusher chronograph, showcasing its intricate mechanism through the dial. Created in partnership with Chronode, it is powered by the proprietary calibre SHX6, a double column-wheel chronograph movement. The Antarctique Rattrapante’s design maintains a balance between high-end mechanics and refined aesthetics, highlighted by a 42.5-millimeter case and visible movement components, including a tripod bridge, satellite minute train, and a patent-pending split-second mechanism.

Functionality includes a minute totalizer at four o’clock and small seconds at seven o’clock, emphasizing layout symmetry. The movement uses a horizontal clutch for its aesthetic appeal, with column wheels anchoring the movement, reflecting the influence of François Czapek’s 19th-century designs.

This edition also comes with Czapek & Cie’s integrated bracelet and an additional blue rubber strap, embodying sporty elegance and high complication in watchmaking.
