Description

The Vulcain Monopusher is a reissue of the 1950s Chronograph Heritage, honoring the brand’s historical connection with Real Madrid. Vulcain, established in 1894, gained prominence in Spanish-speaking countries, partly due to the efforts of André Ditisheim’s grandson, André “Didixien” Ditisheim. A passionate athlete, Didixien played football for what would become Real Madrid, and in 1934, Vulcain became the official timekeeper for the team.

This new version of the Monopusher features a 39mm steel case, available in three versions, including two limited editions of 50 pieces each. The design stays true to the original, with identical numerals and hour-markers. The dial, under the Vulcain emblem at 12 o’clock, is labeled ‘Chronomètre’ and includes a pulsometer scale marked ‘Graduated for 30 pulsations’. The major update is its movement, now powered by the SELLITA SW 510 manual caliber. This timepiece pays homage to Vulcain’s sports legacy and its pivotal role in precision timekeeping in football history.
