Description

Richard Mille continues to push boundaries with the RM 74-02 Automatic Tourbillon, a fusion of advanced materials and precision mechanics. This timepiece features a case made from Gold Quartz TPT®, a composite developed with North Thin Ply Technology. The material combines ultra-thin quartz fibers with 22-carat 5N red gold, creating a unique striated texture with exceptional durability. The intricate layering process ensures no two cases are identical, making each watch a unique piece.

At its core, the RM 74-02 houses the CRMT5 calibre, an in-house automatic tourbillon movement. The baseplate and bridges, made from 18K 5N red gold and 18K 3N yellow gold, provide structural integrity while enhancing the visual appeal. A red gold and platinum variable-geometry rotor ensures efficient winding, delivering a 50-hour power reserve. The movement’s architecture is designed for reliability and precision, with carefully executed finishing that highlights the attention to detail.

Designed for both performance and design, the RM 74-02 follows in the footsteps of the Gold Carbon TPT® edition. Every element serves a purpose, from the openwork construction to the precise transmission system. The use of premium materials enhances both functionality and visual appeal, while the tourbillon regulator improves accuracy.

With a balance of strength, refinement, and innovation, the RM 74-02 is a bold expression of modern watchmaking. It perfectly represents Richard Mille’s philosophy of pushing technical limits while maintaining an uncompromising focus on aesthetics.
