Description

Patek Philippe marks a quiet yet meaningful evolution of its Twenty~4 collection with the introduction of the 7340/1R-001 — the line’s first-ever complication and first non-gemset round model. The Twenty~4 now enters new territory with a perpetual calendar, a complication that has long been central to the brand’s identity. Powered by the ultra-thin self-winding caliber 240 Q, the watch offers a full calendar display that accounts for leap years, all while maintaining a slim 9.95 mm profile.

The layout is pure Patek: balanced, intuitive, and elegantly restrained. Subdials at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock handle the month, date, day, leap-year, and 24-hour functions, while a moon-phase display subtly anchors the dial. The silvery finish, reminiscent of shantung silk thanks to its vertical and horizontal brushing, adds depth without stealing focus from the rose gold Arabic numerals and baton hands, which glow with a discreet white luminescence. The absence of diamonds on the bezel allows the finishing and form to take center stage — a rare move in this collection and a deliberate one.

The 36 mm case and bracelet, both in rose gold and polished by hand, feel purposefully sculpted rather than ornamental. With its contoured links and patented four-catch clasp, the bracelet continues Patek’s emphasis on comfort and thoughtful engineering. Also offered with a sunburst olive green dial (Ref. 7340/1R-010).
