The Patek Philippe Reference 5260/355R-001 Aquanaut Luce “Rainbow” Minute Repeater is a remarkable blend of high watchmaking and high jewelry. Introduced as part of the Aquanaut Luce ladies’ watch collection, this timepiece features an array of exquisite gemstones, including 52 multicolored baguette-cut sapphires (3.19ct), 112 baguette-cut diamonds (7.31ct), and 160 brilliant-cut diamonds (0.72 ct). The watch’s octagonal bezel is adorned with a double row of these gemstones using an “invisible setting” technique, with diamonds on the outer row and rainbow-colored sapphires on the inner row.

The dial of the watch is equally intricate, with a center paved with invisible-set baguette-cut diamonds and an hour ring adorned with snow-set brilliant-cut diamonds. It maintains legibility with 12 multicolored sapphire hour-markers and rose gold baton-style hands with a white luminescent coating.

The watch is powered by a self-winding R 27 caliber, which features an off-centered 22K gold guilloched mini-rotor. The caliber’s architecture and finishing are visible through a transparent sapphire case-back. This watch chimes the hours, quarters, and minutes elapsed since the last quarter with two classic gongs, activated by a slide-piece on the left side of the case.

The Aquanaut Luce “Rainbow” Minute Repeater comes with three ultra-resistant composite straps in matte beige (originally fitted), matte white, and red, each featuring a rose gold patented fold-over clasp set with baguette-cut diamonds. This combination of luxury watchmaking and jewelry craftsmanship makes it a unique and sophisticated timepiece.
