Description

Introduced in 1965, the Depthmaster was groundbreaking as the first dive watch rated for a depth of 1,000 meters, a significant leap from the typical 100-200 meters water resistance of the time. Nivada Grenchen, known for its innovative approach since 1926, demonstrated its commitment to pushing the limits of watchmaking with this model.

The Depthmaster ‘Pac-Man’ Bronze’s distinctive numerals earned it the nickname ‘Pac-Man’ after the popular 1980s arcade game. Made from a CuAl8 copper-aluminum bronze alloy, the Depthmaster Bronze features exceptional resistance to corrosion. This alloy, consisting of 92% copper and 8% aluminum, develops a unique patina over time, influenced by the wearer’s skin chemistry and environment, ensuring each watch is one-of-a-kind.

The Depthmaster ‘Pac-Man’ in Bronze retains the original’s 38mm cushion case, robust lugs, and thick metal bezel with a knurled edge. The black ceramic bezel insert offers a striking contrast to the bronze case, making the ‘Pac-Man’ numerals stand out even more. With a variety of strap options, including ‘Tropic’ rubber, leather, and ‘Racing’ (seven choices in total), the Depthmaster Bronze is versatile and suitable for any occasion.
