n celebration of its 15th anniversary, Moritz Grossmann introduces the unique TREMBLAGE XV Birthday Edition, a testament to the manufactory’s expertise in traditional engraving techniques. This exclusive timepiece features a dial finished with the tremblage engraving technique, where tiny back-and-forth movements of a burin create a rough, matte surface with a soft shimmer. The dial’s three-dimensional design is achieved by meticulously removing the background by hand, making the hour numerals, small seconds circle, and the historic ‘M. Grossmann’ logo appear to hover above the surface.

This anniversary model also commemorates the manufactory’s history, with inscriptions ‘2008-2023′ and ’15’ subtly integrated into the dial, changing visibility with the light. The hands, annealed to a brown-violet hue, add to the watch’s handcrafted elegance, showcasing the skills honed over 15 years.

Powering the watch is the hand-wound calibre 100.1, visible through the glass case back. This movement, made from untreated German silver, features a barrel bridge intricately grained for an even surface, with hand-bevelled edges for added shimmer. The balance and escape wheel cock showcase a hand-applied floral pattern, complemented by traditional polishing techniques.
