Description

MB&F, renowned for its boundary-pushing timepieces, has forged a remarkable bond with the automotive world. This connection is displayed through iconic releases like the HM5, HMX, and HM8, each sporting a distinct speedometer-style display reminiscent of the daring designs that defined the 1970s era.

At the heart of this automotive-inspired journey lies the personal dream of Maximilian Büsser, the visionary behind MB&F. From a tender age, Büsser harbored aspirations of becoming a car designer, his imagination consumed by the sleek lines and aerodynamic contours of automobiles. Though fate steered him towards a different path, his passion endured, shaping MB&F.

The first HM8 Mark 2 was unveiled in 2023 to resounding acclaim. It was available in a choice of two editions, distinguished by striking white or green body panels. Building upon this success, MB&F introduced a new limited edition in 2024, the HM8 Mark 2 in captivating glossy sapphire blue bodywork.

The HM8 Mark 2 mirrors the engineering of automobiles, featuring an independent water-resistant chassis complemented by interchangeable body panels. Meanwhile, the utilization of CarbonMacrolon®—a composite material imbued with carbon nanotubes—ensures unparalleled strength and lightweight versatility. From the intricacies of its titanium chassis to the complexities of crafting double-curved sapphire crystals, every element speaks to MB&F’s unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries.
