Description

The new Longines CONQUEST Chronograph was co-created with Swiss skier Marco Odermatt. This 42 mm stainless steel watch blends sportiness with elegance, reflecting Longines’ historic connection to alpine skiing. Marco Odermatt, at the young age of 25, broke a 23-year-old record on the 18th March, 2023, scoring the highest points in a season. The special edition Conquest Marco Odermatt, limited to 2042 pieces, commemorates this achievement with a unique engraving.

The Conquest line, trademarked in 1954, mirrors Odermatt’s persona and his sport. Odermatt, a Longines athlete, contributed to this watch’s design, emphasizing shared values of innovation and heritage. The watch’s back features the Crystal Globe, an Alpine Skiing World Cup symbol, won by Odermatt for two consecutive seasons.

Equipped with the Longines L898.5 calibre and silicon balance-spring, the watch offers exceptional magnetic resistance and precision, with a 59-hour power reserve. It has a 42 mm case, water-resistant up to 100 meters, and a tachymetric bezel with a blue ceramic insert. The sunray blue dial features a contrasting sub-second dial, silver counters, and a special snailed finish under applied indexes.

It includes Super-LumiNova® coated hands, red-tinted chronograph hands for visibility, and comes with a blue fabric strap with red stitching. This edition also includes a second NATO strap and a folding clasp with a micro-adjustment system.
