Description

Kross Studio, renowned for merging fantasy with high-end watchmaking, has launched six new Collector Sets inspired by the dragons of HBO’s “House of the Dragon.” Coinciding with the premiere of the show’s second season on June 16, these sets offer collectors a chance to delve into the world of Westeros with exquisite timepieces and dragon egg sculptures.

Each set celebrates a specific dragon from the “Game of Thrones” series, featuring a central floating tourbillon watch designed by Kross Studio’s founder Marco Tedeschi. The watch, with its 45mm grade 5 titanium case and intricate movement, is suspended beneath a sapphire crystal dome.

Complementing the watch, a resin dragon egg sculpture, hand-painted by the French workshop Leblon Delienne, serves as a nest for the timepiece, adding a fantastical element to the collection. The innovative KS 7’005 movement within the watch is a manually wound floating central tourbillon and features a peripheral hour display mechanism.

The movement, with a 120-hour power reserve, features concentric and coaxial functions. The watch’s design integrates elements of the fantasy series, with a Damasteel® dial reminiscent of Valyrian steel and a titanium case engraved with dragon scales and the Targaryen House sigil.

The dragon egg sculpture, designed by Marco Tedeschi and produced in collaboration with Leblon Delienne, is made using 3D scans of TV show props. Each unique resin egg, airbrushed and hand-painted, serves as a functional stand for the tourbillon or any other timepiece, reflecting the power and loyalty symbolized by the dragons in the Targaryen legacy.
