Description

The Polaris Perpetual Calendar, introduced in 2022, features one of watchmaking’s most complex complications: the perpetual calendar. This mechanical complication automatically adjusts for varying month lengths and leap years, requiring no manual correction until 2100 and only on certain centenaries thereafter. It is powered by the automatic Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 868, offering a 70-hour power reserve, entirely designed and assembled by Jaeger-LeCoultre.

The watch emphasizes symmetry and legibility with three sub-dials displaying the date, day, and month, with a moon-phase display at 6 o’clock, showing the moon’s age and phases in both hemispheres. The 42mm pink gold case includes an interchangeable strap system, allowing for quick changes between a black alligator strap for a formal look and a textured dark green rubber strap for a sporty style.
