These pieces feature intricate designs using techniques like paillonné enamel, engraving, and miniature painting to vividly represent the changing seasons. The Slim d’Hermès Le Sacre des saisons line, in particular, displays a variety of demanding skills, with each watch depicting one of the four seasons through animal motifs derived from a Hermès silk scarf, adding an artistic flair to the watch dial with detailed designs and a rich mix of colors.

Created by Philippe Delhotal in 2015, the Slim d’Hermès line reflects the unique and meticulous approach of Hermès, balancing contemporary, timeless aesthetics with the brand’s distinctive style. It revisits the Le Sacre des saisons silk scarf by Pierre Marie, incorporating its design elements into the watches. The collection features animals that represent each season— a lion with a sun halo for summer, an eagle with leafy wings for spring, a wolf crowned with ice for winter, and a horse adorned with flowers for autumn—each contributing to the narrative and whimsical creativity associated with Hermès. The designs draw inspiration from historical French and Russian ballet costumes, blending the beauty of nature and historical depth into the motif. Encased in gold, these watches offer a glimpse into a world of sophisticated and rare craftsmanship.

The Slim d’Hermès Le Sacre des saisons Spring, framed by a rose gold case set with 66 diamonds, spring – in the form of a horse adorned with luxuriant flowers – is born from the patient touch of the artisan who uses a brush to numerous micro-paint layers to lemon chrysoprase stone.
