Description

The Slim d’Hermès Cheval brossé is a poetic dance of precision and artistry. With a case in white gold, its dial unveils a dreamlike scene: a stylized horse, depicted in striking pad-printed colors, standing against an blue enamel sky. This exquisite composition, envisioned by designer Dimitri Rybaltchenko, embodies Hermès’ 2025 theme, Drawn to Craft—an ode to the maison’s ceaseless pursuit of wonder.

The Slim d’Hermès collection, first conceived in 2015 by Philippe Delhotal, is a study in disciplined elegance, defined by refined proportions and effortless sophistication. Here, the dial becomes a canvas of detail, its blue background painstakingly brought to life by skilled artisans. Crushed colored glass powder, blended with natural oils, is applied by brush, dried, and kiln-fired to set the pigments in place. The horse’s silhouette then emerges in layered tones, transferred with exacting precision via pad printing—a delicate process demanding absolute mastery to achieve depth, radiance, and vibrancy.

Powering this timepiece is the ultra-thin H1950 self-winding movement, manufactured within the Manufacture Hermès workshops. Its elegant architecture, barely there yet profoundly present, ensures that timekeeping remains as flawless as the watch’s artistry. Complementing the dial, a matt Bleu Abysse alligator strap—a testament to Hermès’ leatherworking—anchors the composition, harmonizing the watch’s vivid palette. The Slim d’Hermès Cheval brossé is limited to 24 pieces.
