Description

The ARCEAU Duc Attelé watch is a fusion of Haute Horlogerie and equestrian motifs, featuring a triple-axis tourbillon and a minute repeater. Designed by Henri d’Origny in 1978, its classic Arceau watch design with asymmetrical stirrup lugs is updated with a 43 mm polished titanium or rose gold case.

The triple-axis tourbillon and ‘tuning-fork’ minute repeater, both high-frequency complications, are showcased on the dial side, with the tourbillon housed under a sapphire dome with interlacing double “Hs”. The tourbillon, with three separate axes and rotation speeds, operates within a curved hour-circle, while the hours-minutes display features Arabic numerals and claw-shaped hands. The minute repeater, activated via a slide on the case, chimes hours, quarters, and minutes with hammers sculpted like horses. The case material enhances acoustic resonance, and the hand-wound movement ensures precision timing. The sapphire case-back reveals intricate gear designs inspired by the Duc attelé carriage, with anthracite PVD-treated mainplate and bridges, and openworked sapphire-crystal strikework bridge.

Available in limited editions of 24 pieces in titanium or rose gold, each paired with an alligator strap, the Arceau Duc Attelé embodies the union of Hermès style and horological expertise.
