Cuervo y Sobrinos

Cuervo y Sobrinos, the Official Timekeeper of Iberian Historic Endurance, has introduced a limited-edition chronograph known as the Historiador Historic Endurance. This watch features a bicompax dial in British Racing Green with contrasting silver-toned counters, reminiscent of motorsport colors. It is encased in a 40mm stainless steel case, designed to accommodate various wrist sizes.

Iberian Historic Endurance is a series of races held on iconic European race tracks, characterized by a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where competitors, often driving vintage cars, pursue victory on the podium. Cuervo y Sobrinos awards an exclusive personalized watch to the winner of the Index Performance in each competition, which values performance based on factors like age, cylinder capacity, and car type.

The Historiador Historic Endurance pays homage to motorsport history with its green and silver dial, inspired by the Gordon Bennett Cup of 1900, where car colors were determined by nationality. The watch’s design includes leaf-shaped hour and minute hands, a black 30-minute counter hand, and a tachymeter scale against a black background. The word “Taquimetro” on the dial pays tribute to the race’s origins.

Inside the 40mm stainless steel case, the watch houses the CYS 8129 automatic calibre, visible through a sapphire crystal case back featuring the Historic Endurance competition logo and the number 76, indicating the limited production quantity. The watch is paired with a black driving-style perforated calf strap with green stitching, reminiscent of classic racing gloves.

The Historiador Historic Endurance is limited to only 76 pieces, referencing the H-1976 category of cars participating in the historic series, making it a highly exclusive timepiece for motorsport enthusiasts.
