Next to the CLAUDE MEYLAN Ateliers flows the tranquil river, La Lionne, which naturally inspired the women’s collection that introduces the ONDINE watch. Drawing from the mesmerizing ripple effect of circles in water, ONDINE personifies a sense of endless calm.

The design approach is innovative: instead of separately designing the case and bracelet and then merging them, Claude Meylan seamlessly blends the two geometries into one cohesive piece. This perfect integration brings the term “wristwatch” to life like never before.

With its timeless charm and jewel-like elegance, ONDINE reflects both the spirit of the 1970s and modern sophistication. Its openwork movement reveals time in a truly captivating manner. The Swiss-made caliber features simple yet refined craftsmanship, with black hour and minute hands for clear readability. Each second becomes a moment of serenity, enhanced by the watch’s soft curves—truly a “Sculpture of Time.”

In keeping with Claude Meylan’s tradition, the movement is accentuated by a white lacquered inner bezel marked with 12 Roman numerals. The wheels and bridges show off the finest details of the hand-wound mechanical movement, offering a 42-hour power reserve.
