Description

Filmmaker Matthew Vaughn and watchmaker Bremont have teamed up to release a limited edition watch collection, celebrating Vaughn’s new spy thriller, “Argylle,” produced by Apple Original Films and MARV, and set to premiere in theatres on February 2 in partnership with Universal Pictures. The film stars Bryce Dallas Howard as Elly Conway, a reclusive author whose espionage novels start mirroring real spy events, leading her and spy Aidan, played by Sam Rockwell, on a global chase. The ensemble cast includes Henry Cavill, Dua Lipa, John Cena, Ariana DeBose, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, Sofia Boutella, and Samuel L. Jackson.

The Bremont x Argylle Limited Edition Watch Collection features three timepieces, each reflecting the film’s main characters – Argylle, Aidan, and Elly. These watches are noted for their detailed craftsmanship and decorated dial designs, showcasing the Argylle diamond pattern, symbolizing the blend of cinema and precision timekeeping, appealing to both enthusiasts and collectors.

The Elly is a lively variant of the Solo 34, featuring a polished stainless-steel Trip-Tick case and a DLC-treated case barrel, paired with a leather strap in a striking Argylle yellow. It boasts blue hour and minute hands and a yellow, diamond-tipped seconds hand, all filled with blue super-luminova, which beautifully contrasts against a white Argylle decorated dial. This 34mm watch includes an exhibition case back, a 50-hour power reserve, and a date function positioned at 6 o’clock.
