Description
Audemars Piguet has introduced a new 38 mm case size to their Code 11.59 collection, catering to individuals with slimmer wrists. This smaller diameter is featured in two self-winding models, both crafted with an 18-carat pink gold case and a choice of purple or ivory embossed dials. These timepieces also incorporate the latest Calibre 5900 self-winding movement launched in 2022.
The design of the 38 mm Code 11.59 maintains the collection’s distinctive aesthetic, with its octagonal case middle, thin bezel, round caseback, and stylized lugs. The crown showcases a more geometrically complex design, and the cases feature meticulous finishing with satin-brushing and polished chamfers.
The two pink gold models offer elegant contrasts with their vibrant purple or subtle ivory dials, both displaying an embossed pattern that creates unique color effects. Luminescent hour-markers and hands ensure legibility in low light conditions.
Each watch comes with a matching “large square scale” alligator strap and an 18-carat pink gold pin buckle. Additionally, rubber-coated straps with calfskin leather lining and a textile pattern will be available.
Powering these contemporary timepieces is the Calibre 5900 self-winding movement, known for its slim profile, high frequency, and 60-hour power reserve. The movement’s beauty is visible through the sapphire caseback, revealing its 22-carat pink gold oscillating weight and finely decorated components.
Overall, these new 38 mm Code 11.59 models combine creative design and technical sophistication, offering a fresh addition to Audemars Piguet’s renowned collection.
