Perpetual Moon 38 White Gold Night Tide

Description
The Perpetual Moon 38 Night Tide by Arnold & Son celebrates the moon’s powerful influence over the seas. It features a large moon disc set against a backdrop of cascading waves, made from mother-of-pearl and ruthenium.
The design captures the dynamic relationship between the moon and the tides, with waves rising one after another, topped with sparkling foam under the serene light of Selene. This intricate composition is further enhanced by the starry sky with hand-painted luminescent constellations.
Made from a solid block of white gold, the 38 mm diameter case is set with 80 high-clarity diamonds, contributing to a total of 2.62 carats when combined with the brilliant-cut diamonds on the buckle and marquise-cut stones on the dial.
The Perpetual Moon 38 Night Tide is powered by the A&S1612 calibre, the smallest movement in Arnold & Son’s collection, specifically sized at 29.4 mm to fit the case. This hand-wound movement boasts a long power reserve of 90 hours.
The standout feature of this watch is its moon phase complication, which is accurate for 122 years. The moon disc, nearly as large as the calibre itself, faithfully reproduces the phases of the moon, occupying the large aperture between 10 and 2 o’clock. This ensures that the moon phase will only deviate by one day after more than a century, maintaining a precise representation of the moon’s influence over the oceans. This is a limited edition of 18 pieces.
