Description

Alpina has introduced two Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic Arkea Limited Edition watches in anticipation of the ARKEA ULTIM CHALLENGE – Brest, an extreme solo round-the-world yacht race.

As the Official Timekeeper, Alpina showcases these watches with a 41-millimeter steel case available on both steel and rubber straps. The designs reflect nautical themes with a choice of a silvered dial suggestive of sea spray or a deep blue dial. Only 100 and 150 pieces are available for each edition, respectively, featuring the Swiss Made AL-525 automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve.

The first edition of the Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic Arkea boasts an all-steel design with a navy blue dial and luminous hour markers. The second edition sports contrasting silver dials with blue accents, a special blue luminous coating, and a red second-hand counterweight. Both are water-resistant up to 200 meters and pay homage to Alpina’s maritime and watchmaking heritage.

Yachtsman Éric Péron, an Alpina brand ambassador since October 2023, will participate in the race equipped with these timepieces designed for precision and endurance in extreme conditions. Alpina reaffirms its commitment to ocean racing, with plans to continue its involvement through at least 2026, including for the Route du Rhum – Destination Guadeloupe race.
